Freitag, 13. Juli 2012, 15:39. If you have fans/radiators as intake it's best to place the ambient temp sensor on the outside of these so the sensor gets fresh ambient air. Also make sure that theres nothing that may influence the sensor, like the chassis metal, hot air from outtakes etc.

· What I did find with the temp sensor in the head was, a hot engine turned off, then ignition turned on would read much higher due to latent heat in the head transfering to the water with no circulation.
